Spirit of Giving Week to Benefit United Way of Whitman County

Starting this week, WSU Digital Technology Students will host a weeklong fundraiser benefiting mental health and the United Way of Whitman County. Events throughout the week include a raffle for Halloween prizes, a costume photo contest, live-streamed Halloween movies, and spooky stories.

On Halloween Eve, Little Shop of Horrors (1960) will be live-streamed on the United Way of Whitman County’s Facebook page at 4:45 pm. Another scary classic, House on Haunted Hill (1959), will be streamed at 7 pm. On Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31, from 4:45 PM – 6:00 PM, the main event for the Spirit of Giving event will take place, complete with ghost story readings, a Halloween photo submissions slideshow, and a live broadcast of the raffle drawing for some spooky prizes.
